Etsy Love <3

There was one other thing I bought at the Brocante yesterday, I didn't share
because I had to launder and iron it first, and because Simon was very cross that I had bought it in the first place :(

I am far too impulsive for my own good, and snapped up a darling bedroom set without actually considering where I would use it, and if it would actually fit in one of our bedrooms. The result is, I now have a very expensive bedroom set, that doesn't fit, at all, and a very annoyed boyfriend, ooops.

I decided to do the right thing and sell it, it really doesn't fit on our bed, as we have what I can only describe as wooden panels that stop you falling out of bed - this is purely decorative of course, I don't make a habit of falling out of bed!
It won't fit the children's beds because they have much the same thing, and the curtain is too narrow and too long... see, I told you I was impulsive.

Here it is....

It was the fabric that did it for me, I love jaunty floral prints like this! Alas, to a new home it must go, I have listed it on Etsy, hopefully it will find it's way to someone who will love it as much as I.
I took the bed outside (really!) to take the pics as it was so dark and grey today I just couldn't get a good pic indoors.

So, it is Etsy love time again, yay!
I have found some darling goodies this week to share with you.
First up, I have recently rediscovered the joy of penpals, and so have been hunting around for some pretty letter sets.

You may have already heard of
The Black Apple, as it is quite a popular Etsy store, however, Emily Martin, the brains behind those adorable Paper dolls and exquisitely cute prints has just released some charming new paper goods.
My favourite is the
Wee Red Houses Letter Set.

I love red, isn't the illustration the cutest? I know I would love to receive a letter on this! The best thing about these is the size, you can run them through the printer.

I am head over heels with this next store,
A Fanciful Twist is run by Vanessa Valencia, a enviably talented woman who creates the most darling handmade beauties, including paintings (Originals and Prints available), clay and all manner of other luffliness, she is truly an exceptional young lady.

I adore her artwork, and am pleased as punch it is available on postcards, which I like to stock up on, they're super handy for including little notes in swaps, and a piece of art which can be framed too, should your budget be on the tight side.
This one is called
Super Bake girl Emilia, love the colours on this one!

I also love
The Curios Playroom.

Vanessa has the most charming
Blog too, full of whimisical tales and her magical creations, I strongly recommend you go see!

I think perhaps one of the most wonderful and unique Etsy artists I have encountered this week is
While She Naps, here you will find some truly inspirational soft sculptures, quite unlike anything I have ever seen before.

This one is called
Big Responsibility, which I think would make a wonderful gift for first time parents.

I also have my eye on
Egg Timer.

So much scrumptiousness, so little space (and money!), le sigh.
Now, it's early, but it has been a looooong day for me, and my bed is calling, so for now I will leave you with a sneak preview of a little project I have been working on....

All will be revealed tomorrow :)
